A refugee is one who flees in search of refuge, as in times of
war, political oppression, or religious persecution. Harriet
Tubman and all my ancestors who ran for freedom were refugees,
most definitely, said John Brown. But me, I pay my taxes, have
an oil habit, and love to watch reality TV just like every
other American.
