Pres. Bush not concerned that he has only one friend on myspace.com

Despite being on myspace.com for three months, President George W. Bush can’t get anyone to add him as a friend.

A vital aspect of myspace.com is putting your personal bio on your page and getting people who like you or what you stand for to add you as a “myspace” friend. Each person gets one friend automatically. His name is Tom and he’s the co-creator of myspace.com

“It’s not like I have a choice on who I become friends with,” said Tom. “If you’re on myspace, I’m your friend.”

Though it’s obvious rejection, President Bush is “cool with that” he says. “I really thought that at least my staff would be my friend, but I can’t get Cheney, Rummy, or Condi to add me although they’ve had myspace pages for at least six months. But, I’m cool with that. It’s their choice. They come along after I redo my page and start blogging everyday.”

Bush plans to add sexy bike riding photos, join some neo-conservative chat groups and use a free myspace editor he recently found.

Also, Bush has lots of “thanks for the add” graphics that he’s eager to use. “I’ve been visiting a lot of the myspace page layout sites and getting some great stuff,” he said. “I love to surf the other pages too. It’s addictive.”
