No Limit soldier, Iraqi veteran share awkward moment in local liquor store

NEW ORLEANS–When Master P, founder and CEO of No Limit Records happened to bump into Private John W. Barksdale in the local liquor store, it was quite an awkward moment.

"Both were dressed in army fatigues and both were clearly soldiers," said Ahmed "Ak" Hamza, owner of Hammie’s Just a Little Food, but Mostly Liquor Store located in New Orleans.

The two "American" soldiers exchanged respectable looks as they limped pass each other.

"I got hit with strapnel during a raid in Fallujah by some insurgents trying to stop America’s freedom," said Pvt. Barksdale.

"I got hit by some clowns in the Bay area who was trying to stop the rise of No Limit."

Pvt. Barksdale: "Sounds like a meaningless war serving the rich to me."

Master P: "So does yours."
