How to Overcome Obstacles in Entrepreneurship

Business 499 248

It’s no secret that entrepreneurship can be an arduous journey.

After all, ‘IT’S ALWAYS SOMETHING!’, right?

In our first episode, Jerrell and I walked you through our journey consisting of many minor setbacks. As Entrepreneurs, obstacles are expected but it’s all about how you react to them.

Below are some ways that have helped us push through our obstacles.

1) Breathe Chill out.

As soon as your plan doesn’t go according to your blueprint, your first reaction is to freak out. You CANNOT think properly when you’re stressed.

2) Assess the situation

What happened? Is it something that could have been avoided? As Entrepreneurs, you have been trained to be able to quickly make decisions that will affect your company so quickly assessing the obstacle and analyzing the situation is second nature.

3) Expect to succeed

Don’t let one obstacle (big or small) slow you down from creating.  Stay focused on your ultimate goal – achieving success!

A quote from one of my favorite authors: Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough. -Og Mandino To hear major obstacles that our Entrepreneurs have had, click The J. Reall and Aly G Show.

Food for thought:  If it were easy, everyone would do it. Now, go out and fulfill your purpose! – See more at
